  • No, you don’t. W2D2 focuses on empowering women and underrepresented groups in data and AI, but it also welcomes anyone committed to building a more equitable future in the field. If our mission resonates with you, you are welcome here.

  • Members can gain access to networking events, project and speaking opportunities, research fellowships, and exclusive perks. Above all, we provide a virtual community designed to support hands-on learning and career growth.

  • We welcome everyone from curious beginners to seasoned experts. While some projects require specific skills, many of our opportunities are beginner-friendly.

  • In most cases, no. While tool requirements vary by project, we aim to keep personal costs at zero. If a specific platform or paid resource is required but not provided, we will communicate that upfront.

  • First, become a member! Once you are onboarded to our Discord, you’ll have access to dedicated channels where members share upcoming opportunities. Please note that each project may have its own specific timeline, requirements, and capacity.

  • We provide 1:1 mentorship, hands-on portfolio projects, occasional sessions for resume and LinkedIn development, and more. Our goal is to equip members with the skills, confidence, and meaningful connections needed to advance their careers.
