Amy Russ, VP of Customer Analytics @Synchrony, manages a team of data analysts, data scientists, and Agile project teams to scope, analyze, and recommend projects that focus on improving the customer experience. She has an MBA from Auburn University; Master of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology; and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oglethorpe University.
Amy is passionate about learning new skills and teaching others. She currently studies three languages and has taken up ceramics. She also volunteers to Coach and mentor others, focusing on data analytics, cloud AI/ML, and career development, in a variety of ways and through multiple organizations. Some of her volunteer roles include being an Ambassador in Google's Women Techmakers; a Judge in data.org’s (in partnership with the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth and regional support of Dasra) Artificial Intelligence to Accelerate Inclusion (AI2AI) Challenge; and being a mentor/coach with Anitab.org/Grace Hopper and Baddies in Tech.
